In modern society the concept of air freight means more than simply sending a parcel from A to B. The parcel often takes up only a "little" space, whereas its contents may often be of vital importance in connection with a breakdown in production, for example.
Air freight accounts for a major part of flights from North Flying - the Metroliner carries up to two tonnes or seven Euro pallets and has a total freight volume of 15 cubic metres.
These properties, together with a range of 3,200 kilometres, mean that the Metroliner is a very popular aircraft throughout Europe!
